The Eatery is committed to providing honest British food, naturally sourced, lovingly prepared and honestly priced. Food is served all day long with un-compromised quality and service. We source the highest quality ingredients and believe in good produce provenance. Our menus change seasonally to accommodate the best local produce of the season. Here at the Hertford House Hotel, we have a distinctive British flavour, from our beers to our Anglicised Tapas known to us as 'Morsels & Bites', featuring potted Shrimp & potted Duck.
We welcome both residents and non residents to our stunning open plan 60 seat Eatery. We offer guests a classic British Menu with a modern twist.
Our traditional English Afternoon Tea offers a divine selection of handmade cakes, freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream and variety of sandwiches.
Seafood is our speciality with Oysters, Lobster Thermidor & Seafood Platter's included in our extensive Menu.
Our food is complimented by a hand picked wine list and our bar offers an exciting selection of classic and newly created cocktails. A night at the Hotel with Dinner in our Eatery is a treat worthy of any special occasion.

Mercury 3 Course Meal for only £10
How it works:
Collect THREE tokens, including at least two from the Mercury. The third token can come from either Mercury website or from Herts & Lea Valley Star. Three tokens entitle one or two people to dine on the specially prepared menu. If more than two people are dining, you will need more tokens.

We are running the offer every Monday - Thursday, from 12pm-7pm only. Please note that if you don't book, you won't be able to take up the offer.
